Long Island/New York/Westchester Directions
1. Take the New York Thruway (Route 87) to Exit 16, "Harriman".
2. At Exit 16, take Route 17 West toward Binghamton to the Hancock, NY Exit. (It will take about 1 3/4 hours). Get off at exit 87.
3. After exiting you will come to a stop sign. At the stop sign make a left, following signs to Route 191. Make the right at the Getty Station. This road will curve to the left. Make the right onto Route 191, crossing the Green Bridge over the Delaware River .
4. Continue on Route 191 for 1 mile and make a right onto Route 370 West and travel for approximately 12-14 miles
5. You will see a sign for Block and Hexter Vacation Center. About 1 ½ miles after that there will be a fork in the road.
6. Bear left on State Road 4031/Cribbs Road. Continue 1/2 mile and the camp will be on your left.
Long Island/New York/Westchester Directions
1. From the GWB, take 80 West to 380 (you get on at the beginning of 380 so there is only one direction)
2. Take 380 to 6 East. You are now on the highway part of Route 6
3. Take Route 6 to Meredith Street. At the top of the exit ramp take a left. Take a right at the light. This right turn puts you onto Business 6 East in Carbondale .
4. Pass the McDonalds on your right and the Burger King on your left. At that light, take a left staying on Business 6 East.
5. You curve around and pass a donut and gas shop. At that light, take a left, following Business 6 East.
6. At your very first left, make a left onto Route 171 North. The landmark is "The Medicine Shop" on your right.
7. Take 171 North to 370 East. You will know that 370 is getting close when you see Arlos Gas Station. You are going to make a right onto 370.
8. Take 370 until you see the signs for Lake Larraine Golf Course and George's Poyntelle Inn. Make your first right after those signs. This will take you right onto Cribbs Road where you will continue to bear right. We are ¾ mile up on the left. For visiting day, please follow our guides who will direct you to the “Red Gate” further down the road for parking and/or access to Lewis Village
Alternate Westchester Directions via 84
Note-This is a scenic drive through country roads
1. Take 84 West into Pennsylvania to exit 30, Blooming Grove, Route 402 North.
2. Take Route 402 North (going forward you will be on 2-lane country roads; 1 in either direction) to Route 6 West into Honesdale.
3. Take Route 6 West into Honesdale through town, to Route 670 North, following signs
4. Take Route 670 N to Route 370 East
5. On 370, look for the Lake Larraine Golf Course and George's Poyntelle Inn on the right. Make the first sharp right onto Cribbs Road/State Road 4031. The camp will be about ¾ mile up on the left, after the cows.
6. If you pass Block and Hexter Vacation Center on the right, you’ve gone too far on 370; turn around carefully and look for Cribbs Road
Directions From Binghamton
- Take Route 17 East to Exit 87, Hancock
- Follow signs to Route 191, making a right at the Getty station, and following the road
- Go over the "Green Bridge" and make a right on Route 370 West
- Follow 370 for 12-14 miles. You will see a sign for Block and Hexter on the left.
- About 1 1/2 miles further, there will be a fork in the road. Bear left onto State Road 4031/Cribbs Road.
- The camp will be about ¾ mile up on the left, after the cows.
Directions From New Jersey
- Take the GWB or the Lincoln Tunnel to Route 80 West in N.J.
- From Route 80 West take Exit 34-B to Route 15 North towards Sparta, N.J.
- Continue on Route 15, which eventually becomes Route 206.
- Take Route 206 over the Delaware River Bridge to the town of Milford, PA.
- Take Route 6 West out of Milford and travel approximately 35 miles to Honesdale, PA.
- Continue through the town of Honesdale and follow signs to Routes 670 and 191 North. Route 6 makes a left turn in Honesdale at the Wayne Hotel. Do not make this left turn. Continue through the traffic light to Route 670 North.
- About 1/4 mile after the traffic light, Routes 670 and 191 split. Bear left and take Route 670 North.
- After traveling approximately 10 miles on Route 670 North you will come to an intersection. On your right will be a tavern called the "Little Red School House". Make a right turn at the intersection.
- Follow Route 247 to the village of Lake Como.
- Make a left on Route 370 West and follow directions above (#5)
From Connecticut – Route 84
- Take Route 84 West to Exit 8, Blooming Grove, PA.
- From Exit 8 make a right turn and take Route 402 North.
- At the end of Route 402 North make a left onto Route 6 West.
- Take Route 6 West through Hawley to the town of Honesdale.

From Scranton
- Take Business Route 6 East to Route 171 North to 370 East.
- After passing the sign for Lake Larraine Golf Course and George's Poyntelle Inn, make a sharp right turn (about 270o) around the Post Office onto State Road 4031/Cribbs Road. Follow this road about ½ mile and the camp is on the Left.
